Hudson County Detective Honored for Life-Saving Response at Sports Illustrated Stadium

Detective Albert Kim of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office received a Life Saving Award from the Rapid Deployment Force and New Jersey Urban Area Security Initiative, officials announced.

While working a detail at Sports Illustrated Stadium in July, Kim responded to a medical emergency involving a stadium attendee. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, he was among the first on scene and provided immediate medical aid, contributing to the individual’s full recovery.

“Congratulations to Detective Albert Kim, who was presented a Life Saving Award by the Command Staff of the Rapid Deployment Force and NJ Urban Area Security Initiative,” the Prosecutor’s Office stated.

The award was presented by the unit’s command staff in recognition of Kim’s prompt and effective response.
