Wainstein Racks Up Endorsements from Hudson County Mayors

Larry Wainstein’s campaign for State Assembly in LD-33 has picked up major endorsements from some of Hudson County’s most influential mayors. State Senator and Union City Mayor Brian Stack, West New York Mayor Albio Sires, Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner, Hudson County Executive Craig Guy have announced their support for Wainstein and his running mate, Assemblyman Gabriel Rodriguez.
“It is important to have partners in the State Assembly who will work with local and county leaders to put people first,” Stack said.
Mayor Albio Sires described Wainstein and Rodriguez as “the team we can trust to fight for our district,” while Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner emphasized Wainstein’s understanding of the community’s challenges and vision for the future. Hudson County Executive Craig Guy joined the chorus, describing the pair as champions of leadership in North Hudson. “I fully endorse Gabriel and Larry and ask you to join me in ensuring a victory this June,” Guy said.
The endorsements come as Wainstein continues to draw sharp criticism from his opponent, Assemblyman Julio Marenco, whose campaign has attacked Wainstein’s record and credibility. As HudPost reported earlier this week, Marenco labeled Wainstein a “conman and a proven liar” and vowed to fight aggressively to maintain his seat.
The endorsements further solidify Wainstein’s position as a serious contender in the race.
