The City of Hoboken is inviting west side residents to submit personal photographs for inclusion in a new community mural at 7th & Jackson Resiliency Park.

“The 7th & Jackson Community Mural Project is a celebration of the stories, people, and spirit of Hoboken’s vibrant west side,” said Mayor Bhalla. “I encourage residents to share their memories and be part of this meaningful tribute.”

Photos from family events, graduations, sports, and other milestones can be submitted at hoboken.seamlessdocs.com/f/7thJacksonMural through Friday, July 11, at 5 p.m.

Local youth ages 8 to 14 can also register for Mural Arts Workshops that will contribute to the mural’s design. Classes begin Friday, July 11, at the Damon Murray Community Gym.

The project is a collaboration between the City’s Division of Cultural Affairs and artists from Mural Painter Inc., and is funded by the Hoboken Public Arts Trust Fund. The mural will be painted in July and August, weather permitting.
