The township is advising residents to avoid contact with wild animals and take steps to minimize the risk of interactions. Officials recommend securing trash bins, refraining from feeding wildlife, supervising pets while outdoors, and sealing any potential entry points to homes. If a raccoon or any other wild animal appears aggressive or behaves unusually, residents should report it immediately.
