Due to this week’s forecasted hot weather, North Bergen’s three designated cooling centers are open on the hours listed below from July 16 to 19, 2019. Township residents who are feeling overheated are invited to come cool off during the hours the centers are operational.
Uptown library, 8411 Bergenline Ave.
Downtown library, 2123 Kennedy Blvd. Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Recreation Center, 6300 Meadowview Ave. Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
