Jersey City Councilman Gilmore Calls for DeGise’s Resignation
“After carefully reviewing the CCTV footage, considering a council member hit an individual with her SUV, and left the scene without checking on the individual am calling for the resignation of Council member DeGise,” says Jersey City Ward F Councilman Frank Gilmore. “These behaviors are not indicative of someone in elected office.”

Jersey City Council Rep @amy_degise should resign. She has been charged with hit-and-run after crashing into a cyclist while driving her SUV on Tuesday morning. The cyclist required hospital treatment. DeGise fled the scene of the crash. https://t.co/1ZXwyIYmSn
