A pressure cooker was left on a street corner near the 67th Street basketball court in North Bergen. This scare comes after multiple pressure cooker devices were rigged to explode and found in Seaside and Elizabeth, NJ – one that actually detonated.
The device was reported by multiple residents that contacted the police following the, “If you see something, say something,” motto and we’re all glad they did.
“The item did not contain any incendiary devices,” says the North Bergen Police Department. In collaboration with the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit were able to deem the device safe.
