North Bergen’s Aimee Focaraccio elected President of HCYD

North Bergen’s Aimee Focaraccio was #7 on our annual North Bergen Power list, and it seems like she may have moved up a few spots. On June 1st, 2019 Focaraccio was elected to become the President of the Hudson County Young Democrats.

Focaraccio is a prominent and active community organizer. She formerly served on the Hudson County Young Democrats Policy Committee. She is also the Director of NB C.A.R.E.S, and North Bergen Committeewoman.

According to the HCYD website, the Hudson Young Democrats is a volunteer organization dedicated to expanding civic activism, encouraging greater participation in the political process, and providing community service opportunities throughout Hudson County.

Also elected is new vice president of the Hudson County Young Democrats Angela Cirillo, the sister of West New York Commissioner Cosmo Cirillo. Joe Skillender, treasurer; Daniel Levine, secretary, Caitlin Mota, communications director; Nancy Guevara (also of North Bergen) events/activities director; Patrick Ambrossi, membership director; George Zapata, community services director; and Anthony Rios, high school/college outreach liaison.
