Conclusion of Kyle Anderson’s Celebrate Life Basketball Tournament
Kyle Anderson’s Celebrate Life Tournament concluded after three days of operation on August 4th, 5th, and 6th at James J Braddock park.
The first day included the boys’ high school tournament, where it was four plus hours of pure basketball on all three courts in the park.
The second night included the three vs. three tournament, where people could sign up and make their own teams to participate in the tournament. The three vs. three game featured Hallice Cooke, a former Saint Anthony’s and college star, participating in the tournament. Hallice was excited about the opportunity to play.
“This event was special as it is for the people,” said Cooke, “I played so people who never saw me play could watch what I can do.”
Day three of the tournament concluded with the Girls Teaneck team winning the girls’ high school tournament. The boys’ championship concluded with St. Peters Prep winning the championship.
The event ended strongly, with people now looking forward to the event for the next upcoming year ahead.
