Muslim Organization Plans Protest in North Bergen

The New Jersey chapter of The American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) announced that they will hold a rally and march to oppose “further annexation of Palestinian lands.”

“We hope the American people will see that the time for justice is now,” says Bader Risheg, North Bergen resident and lead organizer. “We need to stop supporting oppression with our tax dollars and start supporting the oppressed.”

“Israeli forces are hoping to annex parts of the West Bank,” says a statement from the Palestinian American Community Center. “Thus inherently diminishing Palestinian culture, history, and presence.

The rally will held on Friday, July 3rd at 4:00 pm at 80th Street and Bergenline Avenue in North Bergen.
