Jersey City, NJ — A resident shared behind-the-scenes footage of Steven Spielberg’s upcoming movie being filmed at Montgomery and Bergen Avenue earlier this week. The untitled project has been in production across New Jersey since February.

The movie, currently using the working title Non-View, is a science fiction film reportedly involving UFOs. Filming locations across the state have included Tuckahoe, Woodbine, Cape May County, Montville, and Middlesex County.

The screenplay was written by David Koepp, a longtime Spielberg collaborator known for Jurassic Park and War of the Worlds. The cast includes Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Wyatt Russell, and Colman Domingo.

Casting calls in New Jersey have sought background actors, including people with vehicles and individuals to portray North Korean soldiers.

The film is being produced by Amblin Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures. It is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2026.
