Dr. Robert Albrecht, Professor Emeritus at New Jersey City University (NJCU), has won “Best Documentary” at the Helsinki Education Film Festival International for his film Man on a Mission: The Transformative Power of the Arts.

The documentary, co-directed and co-produced with the late Dina Bruno, highlights the work of Carmine Tabone, founder of the Educational Arts Team and Camp Liberty in Jersey City. It explores how the arts foster community and improve education, especially for young people.
