Mayor Nick Sacco and New Commissioner Team Sworn in Amid Community Support in North Bergen

NORTH BERGEN, NJ – Mayor Nick Sacco and his team of Commissioners were sworn into office amid cheers from residents, families, and friends. Incumbent Commissioners Hugo Cabrera and Allen Pascual, along with newcomers Claudia Rodriguez and Anthony Vainieiri Jr., bring diverse backgrounds and shared visions to tackle North Bergen’s future challenges.

Mayor Sacco expressed gratitude to the community for their unwavering support: “Your belief in our shared vision for the future has made us successful. I’m honored to lead North Bergen forward with you by our side for the next four years.”

The swearing-in ceremony took place in front of Township Hall, graced by prominent guests, including city mayors, county executives, police chief, superintendent of schools, and more. Commissioner Frank Gargiulo officiated the event, which kicked off with a pledge of allegiance led by Mayor Sacco’s grandson, Nate, and the singing of the national anthem by North Bergen High School chorus members. The crowd also enjoyed a performance by the NBHS Marching Band.
