Jabbour Wins Hoboken Mayoral Runoff

Councilmember Emily Jabbour defeated Councilmember Michael Russo in the December 2, 2025, mayoral runoff in Hoboken, becoming the city’s next mayor. Following the win, Jabbour issued a statement: “I am incredibly humbled and honored by the trust that the people of Hoboken have placed in me. Tonight’s result is not just a victory for our campaign. It is a victory for everyone who believes that Hoboken’s best days are ahead. This campaign was about listening, building bridges, and making sure that truth and honesty prevail. I am grateful to every volunteer, every supporter, and every resident who opened their door, shared their ideas, and joined this effort. This is your moment too. Tomorrow, the real work begins. Together, we will continue building a Hoboken that is stronger, fairer, and ready for the future.”
