Chief Facchini Retires After 27 Years with Union City Police Department

Chief Anthony Facchini has retired from the Union City Police Department after 27 years and seven months of service, according to a statement from the department.

“Chief Facchini devoted his life to protecting and serving our community, leading our department with integrity, pride, and unwavering commitment,” the department said. “He is not only an outstanding leader and public servant, but above all, a devoted husband and father.”

The department expressed gratitude for Chief Facchini’s long tenure and acknowledged the impact of his career.

“His legacy of service will remain a lasting part of our department,” the statement read. “Thank you, Chief, for everything you have done for us. Enjoy your well deserved retirement.”
