North Bergen Promotes Three Police Officers, Swears in 11 New Members

The Township of North Bergen recognized the service of three police officers and swore in 11 new officers during a ceremony at township chambers. Family members, colleagues, and local officials attended as the officers took their oaths.
Mayor Nicholas Sacco, Public Safety Commissioner Allen Pascual, and Police Chief Robert J. Farley Jr. presided over the event, praising the officers for their dedication to protecting the community.
Lieutenant Gleny Henry, Sergeant Eric Crafton, and Sergeant Indira Cabrera received promotions. “Each of these officers has demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, leadership, and dedication to public safety,” said Mayor Sacco. “Their promotions reflect their hard work and the trust we have in them to continue making North Bergen a safer place for all residents.”
Chief Farley emphasized the importance of leadership within the department. “These officers have earned their new ranks through years of dedication, training, and service. We are confident they will continue to lead by example and uphold the highest standards of law enforcement,” he said.
The 11 new officers sworn into the force were Christian R. Angulo, Angel L. Apraricio, Miguel A. Cardenas, Christian Correa, Andres L. Faife, Ishmael Gomez, Bryan Heredia, Kiana Rosado, Michael V. Santini, Wellington Tobar, and Kevin D. Zambrano. All previously served as part-time SLEO II officers.
“Today’s ceremony is not only a proud moment for the officers being promoted and sworn in, but also for the entire North Bergen community,” said Commissioner Pascual. “These men and women represent the very best of our police department. Their commitment to public service and the safety of our residents is unmatched, and I know they will continue to serve with integrity, professionalism, and dedication in their new roles. I’d also like to thank Township Administrator Janet Castro for her role in getting these promotions done.”
