The township Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted a resolution Wednesday establishing a revised budget with a $46.7 million tax levy.
The revised budget will increase the school tax by $93 on a house assessed at the district average of $140,000, Somick said.
“We need technology, we need classrooms, we need programs, we need new buildings,” Superintendent of Schools George J. Solter Jr. said before April’s vote. “That’s why we’re asking for a raise in the tax levy.”
