Man Found Deceased in Apparent Overdose in Hoboken

At approximately 10:40 p.m. on Monday, Hoboken Police responded to reports of an unconscious male near the intersection of Washington and Observer Streets. Hoboken EMS also responded to the scene to administer aid.

Despite emergency efforts, the individual was pronounced deceased on site. A preliminary investigation indicates the death resulted from an apparent overdose.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
