Kearny Bank Receives Certificate of Award for 140th Anniversary

Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the North Bergen Township Commissioners awarded Kearny Bank with a Certificate of Award for its 140 years of dedicated service to the community. The ceremony, held on April 24, 2024, saw Jack Anastasi, Senior Vice President of Kearny Bank, accepting the accolade on behalf of the institution.

Founded in 1884 as Kearney Building and Loan Association, Kearny Bank has grown to possess assets over $8 billion and serves 43 communities. The bank, which started with the goal of helping local residents succeed, continues to be driven by values of empathy, trust, and innovation.

This township award celebrates Kearny Bank’s longstanding commitment and its positive impact on the local community over more than a century.
