Collision Unit Investigates Multi-Vehicle Crash on Kennedy Boulevard

A multi-vehicle crash on Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City is under active investigation by the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Jersey City Police Department, according to Prosecutor Esther Suarez.

The crash occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Monday, July 21, near Claremont Avenue. Officers responding to the scene found three vehicles involved: a Honda Accord, a Honda Pilot, and an Infiniti G37.

Three female passengers from the Honda Accord were injured, including one who sustained a serious lower body injury. The driver of the Accord fled the scene on foot before police arrived. Two occupants of the Honda Pilot sustained minor injuries. All injured individuals were transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment.

The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
