North Bergen man burns, beats woman with cigarettes and sneakers

A 43-year-old North Bergen man has been charged with burning a woman with a cigarette multiple times and beating her with a pair of sneakers on Nov. 16.

Emilio Rodriguez, of the 2400 block of Kennedy Boulevard, is charged with burning the woman’s abdomen and hands with a cigarette, causing visible burns, the criminal complaint says.
