Jabbour Selects Chief of Staff for Incoming Hoboken Administration

Mayor-elect Emily Jabbour has named Christian Duffy as chief of staff for her incoming administration in Hoboken. The appointment was announced ahead of Jabbour’s swearing-in.
“I am happy to announce Christian Duffy as my Chief of Staff,” said Jabbour. “Christian has been a trusted ally and brings a wealth of government and political experience to this position. I am confident his presence in City Hall will help move Hoboken forward.”
Duffy began his political career in Hoboken in 2013 and has since worked on campaigns and in government roles across several states. His prior experience includes serving as Hudson County political coordinator for Governor Phil Murphy’s 2021 re-election campaign and as chief of staff to both Assemblywoman Annette Quijano and Senator Joseph Cryan.
“I am incredibly grateful to Mayor-Elect Jabbour for the privilege to serve as her Chief of Staff,” said Duffy. “Hoboken is where my journey in politics began, and I’m eager to get to work alongside Mayor-Elect Jabbour to build a City Hall that is more transparent, more collaborative, and more responsive to our residents.”
Duffy also managed campaigns for Congressman Rob Menendez, Congressman Herb Conaway, and most recently, Assemblyman Vinnie Kearney’s successful bid in NJ-21. He holds a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University and served as a senior advisor to Jabbour’s mayoral campaign.
