Bayonne Improves to 2-0 at Little League World Series With 3-1 Win

Bayonne is moving on at the Little League World Series.
Bayonne beat East Side Little League of West Chester, Pennsylvania, 3-1 on Friday, August 22, 2026, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, improving to 2-0 in the tournament.
Bayonne finished with three runs on five hits, while West Chester managed one run on six hits. Mason Rincon, who delivered a walk-off home run in Bayonne’s opening win, homered again to put his team ahead 3-0. A 5-4-3 double play helped Bayonne close out the top of the third inning and preserve its early lead.
West Chester scored its lone run on a single in the top of the fifth inning but could not complete the comeback, dropping to 0-1 in the tournament.
The win extends a remarkable run for the young players from Bayonne, the first Hudson County team to reach the Little League World Series in about 60 years, since West New York American in 1966.
With the victory, Bayonne is now two wins away from representing the United States in the Little League World Series championship game.
