Tragic Death of West New York Audio Engineer Leaves Community in Mourning

The body of a 31-year-old audio engineer from West New York, Lestor Tabora, was found in his van parked outside an Englewood day care center on Friday. Tabora had been reported missing on February 8th, when he was last seen driving his white GMC van in Fairview. According to multiple responders, Tabora’s body was discovered without any visible signs of injury or foul play.

Investigators have stated that they do not suspect any wrongdoing in Tabora’s death. The Bergen County Medical Examiner’s Office will provide definitive results following the autopsy.

The news of Tabora’s untimely death has left his loved ones in shock. Pamela Zaldana Martinez, a friend of Tabora’s, described him as a “kind-hearted and talented individual who had a passion for music” on a GoFundMe page created to help cover his funeral expenses.

Tabora was a gifted drummer and sound engineer who devoted his time to volunteering at various churches in his community. His generosity, warmth, and willingness to help others made him a true friend to many.

The circumstances surrounding Tabora’s death remain unclear.
