Stack’s Turkey Drive Distributes 35,000 Turkeys Across Hudson County

State Senator and Union City Mayor Brian P. Stack has continued his longstanding tradition of giving back to the community through his annual turkey drive, distributing approximately 35,000 turkeys throughout Hudson County. The effort reached residents in Union City, Guttenberg, Secaucus, North Bergen, and Weehawken.

“This is something close to my heart. Something I’ve started as a teenager. And we’ve only had it grow since then,” Stack stated.

The initiative, organized by the Brian P. Stack Civic Group, involved around 500 volunteers to assist in the distribution. Governor hopeful Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill also joined the effort, showing her support for the community-focused program.

Over multiple days, volunteers and members of the Civic Group joined Stack in going door to door, ensuring families received turkeys ahead of Thanksgiving.
