St. Louis Battlehawks Re-sign Steven Gonzalez for Fourth UFL Season
The St. Louis Battlehawks have re-signed offensive guard Steven Gonzalez, marking his return for a fourth season with the team in the United Football League.
Gonzalez, a Union City High School graduate and former Penn State standout, has been a consistent presence on the Battlehawks’ offensive line since joining the team through the 2023 XFL Draft. He started all 10 games at left guard during the 2023 season and was named to the All-XFL team for his performance.
Before his professional career, Gonzalez earned All-New Jersey honors in high school and started 41 games at Penn State, where he was twice recognized on All-Big Ten teams. He later had brief stints with the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets.
The Battlehawks’ decision to retain Gonzalez underscores their commitment to stability on the offensive line heading into the 2026 UFL season.
