Solomon Releases First TV Ad in Jersey City Mayoral Campaign

Mayoral candidate James Solomon released his first television advertisement, launching a citywide message focused on affordability and political reform. The 30-second spot, titled “Moment,” is airing on cable television and digital platforms and will remain on air through Election Day.
In the ad, Solomon reflects on his personal experience as a cancer survivor and his time in public office. He highlights his refusal to accept campaign contributions from Jersey City developers and his opposition to what he describes as a corrupt political machine.
The advertisement outlines Solomon’s platform, which includes building affordable housing, improving public schools, stabilizing property taxes, and enhancing public safety.
“We’ve got only one shot to make Jersey City affordable for everyone and I will be the mayor to make it happen,” Solomon said. “That’s what this campaign has been focused on and that is why we’re the only one that can bring that change to Jersey City. As mayor, we’re going to build affordable housing, improve our public schools, stabilize property taxes, and make sure our streets are safe and livable. This is our moment and we’re not going to miss it.”
The campaign described the ad as a statement of Solomon’s priorities and his commitment to placing residents’ needs ahead of real estate interests.
