The North Bergen Board of Commissioners will vote on “Authorizing the execution of a Developers Agreement with Tonnelle Chicken, LLC” according to the township’s meeting agenda.
Earlier this year, the township’s Planning Board held a special meeting with “Tonnelle Chicken LLC” who will be doing business as Popeye’s fast food restaurant.

In a preliminary site plan, Dyanamic Engineeiring Consultants revealed the proposal for the national restaurant chain to be built on the corner of 88th Street and Tonnelle Avenue (Route 1&9). The plan includes a 15 foot Popeyes sign, 14 person seating, and drive-thru service.
