The New Jersey State Bar Foundation awarded $500 mini grants this year to 10 schools for peer mediation programs as part of its mission to promote law-related initiatives.
Any New Jersey public, private, or charter school that attends the foundation’s peer mediation training may apply for the grants, which are awarded each fiscal year.
North Bergen High School was awarded a mini grant along with Warren Middle School, Cranford High School, Burch Charter School of Excellence in Irvington; Monmouth Junction Elementary School, Carl Sandburg Middle School in Old Bridge, Samuel T. Busansky Upper Elementary School in Pemberton, Amerigo A. Anastasia Elementary School in Long Branch, Forrestdale School in Rumson, and Henry E. Harris Community School in Bayonne.
