NORTH BERGEN,NJ — North Bergen High School held its Graduation Ceremony for the
558-student Class of 2019 on Tuesday, including members of the school’s first ever S.T.E.M. Academy cohort which began four years ago.
The event featured speeches from Mayor Nicholas J. Sacco and Superintendent of Schools Dr. George Solter and NBHS Principal, Richard Locricchio, as well as the school’s Valedictorian Riyakumari Jain and Salutatorian Yahira Herrera.
The ceremony had bittersweet end with the “Senior Reflections” featuring a poem by student Cristy Garcia, which she wrote in her creative writing class.
