July 13–19: Music, Culture, and Messi in Hudson County

This week in Hudson County brings live performances, cultural celebrations, outdoor fun, and one of the summer’s biggest soccer matchups. Here’s what to look forward to:

Sunday, July 13 kicks off with Your Voice, Our Band at Art House Productions in Jersey City. From 3 to 5 PM, vocalists are invited to perform live with a five-piece band. Admission is $10 and all are welcome, whether you’re singing or supporting.

Tuesday, July 15 brings the second Union City Summer Block Party at 6 PM. This week’s party takes place on 7th Street between Summit and Central Avenues. Expect music, games, and a fun evening with neighbors, friends and family.

Thursday, July 17, Bayonne hosts its weekly Jigsaw Puzzle Group at 6 PM. It’s a relaxed space for community members to gather, chat, and work on puzzles together. 

Friday, July 18 marks Union City’s Colombian Flag Raising Ceremony at 12 PM. The event features live entertainment and free rides for the community, celebrating Colombian culture with pride.

Saturday, July 19 is packed with activity. The day starts with North Bergen’s Flea Market from 9 AM to 4 PM along the Bergenline Avenue sidewalk next to Braddock Park. Then head to Jersey City’s Lincoln Park for the first-ever Loud Garden Music Festival from 2 to 8 PM. This free event features DJs, live music, food trucks, artist collectives, and local vendors.

Also taking place that evening, Sports Illustrated Stadium hosts Inter Miami CF vs. New York Red Bulls at 7:30 PM in one of the most anticipated MLS games of the summer. Messi comes to Hudson County!
