Altercation Breaks Out Among Adults at Jersey City Youth Football Game

An altercation involving several adults broke out in the stands during a 10U youth football game between Jersey City and Hoboken on Sunday, September 14, at Caven Point Athletic Complex, according to video and witness statements submitted to HudPost.

The incident began with verbal exchanges between parents and escalated into a physical fight in the spectator area. A witness told HudPost that no arrests were made and that police were not present during the altercation.

“It started from parents just shit talking,” said the witness, who requested anonymity. “Cops [were] MIA at least for the whole incident. Didn’t see anything else happen.”

The Jersey City Police Department declined to comment when reached by HudPost.
