Target Jersey City Hosts Holiday Alpine Village for Big Brothers Big Sisters

On December 7, the Target store at 100 14th Street in Jersey City hosted a LEGO Holiday Alpine Village experience for children from Big Brothers Big Sisters, transforming the store’s seasonal display area into an interactive holiday celebration.

Eighteen Littles, along with their Bigs and families, participated in the event, which featured festive activities including a mini figurine build station, a holiday photo booth, and various craft stations. LEGO Brand Ambassadors and a live DJ helped create a celebratory atmosphere.

“This holiday event was about turning our store into a place where our guests and their families could make memories,” said Simone Glenn, merchandising director at Target. “We were so excited to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters and bring a little extra joy to our community this season.”

Each participating Little received a $100 Target gift card to select holiday gifts after completing the LEGO activities.

“At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we’re about building relationships through mentorship and within our community,” said Viviana Baeza, director of partnerships for BBBS Essex, Hudson, and Union Counties. “It’s important for us to come together and share positive experiences like this during the holiday season. It’s amazing to have our community together, and we’re thankful to Target for their partnership because our kids are all walking away with a smile on their face today.”
