ICE Raid at North Bergen Warehouse Leads to Multiple Detentions

North Bergen, NJ – Federal immigration authorities raided a warehouse operated by STG Logistics in North Bergen, detaining all employees inside, sources say. The operation, carried out by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), reportedly involved fingerprinting and questioning every worker present. Several individuals were taken into custody, though the exact number remains unclear.
STG Logistics is a Container Freight Station (CFS), a federally regulated facility that falls under the jurisdiction of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). These warehouses serve as key points in the supply chain, handling imported goods before they are released for domestic distribution. Because CFS facilities operate under federal customs oversight, enforcement actions—including ICE operations—can occur within their premises as part of broader immigration and border security efforts.
Sources at the scene reported that ICE agents arrived with search dogs, conducting a thorough sweep of the warehouse during the operation.

ICE officials declined to comment on the specifics of the raid, stating, “Per ICE policy, we cannot talk about ongoing law enforcement actions.”
STG Logistics could not be reached for comment.
This raid follows a pattern of recent ICE activity in Hudson County. Just last month, ICE agents were seen conducting enforcement operations in West New York, where they reportedly apprehended a Hispanic man without questioning him, as previously reported by HudPost. That operation occurred just days after President Donald Trump signed the “Protecting the American People Against Invasion” executive order, which expanded ICE’s enforcement powers and expedited deportations.
The presence of federal immigration authorities in North Bergen is likely to raise concerns in the local community, which has a significant immigrant population.
