Federal Enforcement Operations Intensify Across Hudson County

UNION CITY, NJ – Federal immigration enforcement activity continues to intensify in Hudson County. Just one day after ICE and ERO agents were seen conducting a targeted operation in West New York, agents were spotted in Union City near 18th Street early Sunday.
Witnesses reported seeing HSI officers in the area, marking the second sighting in two days and raising concerns about the scale of ongoing federal enforcement actions.
This heightened federal activity follows President Donald Trump’s signing of the “Protecting the American People Against Invasion” executive order. The order emphasizes stricter immigration enforcement, expanded detention facilities, and the creation of Homeland Security Task Forces across all states.
ABC7 reported on exclusive footage of federal agents conducting a search in a building in West New York, further highlighting ICE’s presence in Hudson County.
When asked about their intentions to continue raids in Hudson County, an ICE spokesperson stated, “We’ll get back to you when the information is available. Friendly reminder, per ICE policy, we cannot talk about ongoing law enforcement actions.”
