Hudson County’s 24 Hours of Giving
Hudson County’s annual day of virtual giving, Hudson Gives, is returning on May 9, 2024. This event, organized by the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce and Hudson County Chamber Foundation, has quickly become a vital part of our community’s philanthropic landscape. In just four years, it has raised close to $2 million, thanks to the generosity of over 11,000 donors.
Emory Edwards, CEO of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce, underscores the importance of this event. “Hudson Gives is a powerful platform that connects donors with a variety of causes, making a tangible difference in areas like healthcare, education, and poverty relief,” he stated. This initiative simplifies fundraising for nonprofits, allowing them to focus on their mission rather than event logistics.
Corporations and individuals interested in supporting Hudson Gives can contribute through sponsorships, providing essential funding and gaining philanthropic visibility.
For donors, this event is an opportunity to support various Hudson County nonprofits, making a significant impact in the community.
Registration for #HudsonGives opens to nonprofits on Tuesday, February 1, 2024, and will close on Friday, April 12, 2023.
As the event nears, potential sponsors and donors are encouraged to participate and help make Hudson Gives 2024 a remarkable success. For more information on how to get involved, visit the Hudson Gives website, open for donations from May 2-18.
