F.B.I. Investigation in Hoboken Linked to Alleged Assassination Plot Targeting Palestinian Activist

Federal authorities conducted court-authorized law enforcement activity in Hoboken, New Jersey, as part of an investigation into an alleged assassination plot targeting Palestinian activist Nerdeen Kiswani, according to reporting by The New York Times.
The F.B.I.’s New York office said the activity occurred near Willow Avenue and Clinton Street and confirmed the investigation remains ongoing. Officials did not release additional details about the operation or identify individuals involved. According to The New York Times, at least one arrest was made in connection with the case, and charges were expected to be announced.
Kiswani, 31, is the co-founder of Within Our Lifetime, a pro-Palestinian group that has organized numerous protests in New York City focused on the war in Gaza and Palestinian rights.
Authorities have not publicly identified suspects or disclosed a motive related to the alleged plot. The investigation remains active. Kiswani said agents informed her that “a plot against my life was ‘about to’ take place,” according to her statement to The New York Times.
