Hudson Gives 2026 raised $1,095,810 for local nonprofits, surpassing the $1 million mark for the first time in the giving day’s eight-year history, the Hudson County Chamber Foundation announced.

The annual campaign, which supports nonprofits across Hudson County, drew 4,719 donors who contributed to 83 organizations providing services ranging from housing and healthcare to the arts and animal welfare.

“We have been on the verge of surpassing this milestone for several years now,” Emory Edwards, president of the Hudson County Chamber Foundation, said. “We are so grateful to the entire community stepping up to help our own nonprofits who do such great work.”

ARTS 14C led the campaign with $277,126 raised from 368 donors, followed by Art House Productions with $64,130 and Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County with $59,637. The York Street Project, Friends of the Learning Community Charter School, and the Hoboken Shelter rounded out the top six.

This year’s presenting sponsor was the Exchange Place Alliance Special Improvement District, which donated $50,000 in prizes and match minutes.

Since its start, Hudson Gives has generated $5.6 million in total and engaged more than 19,000 individual donors. The campaign is part of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce‘s Shop Local, Give Local strategy.

“It is important for residents to give where they live, work and play,” Edwards said. “Too many times, residents contribute to our neighbors across the river. Unfortunately, most of those agencies do not work in Hudson County.”
