Secaucus PBA Civic Association Offers Free Pet Alert Signs

Retired Captain Joseph Kickey, chairman of the Secaucus PBA Civic Association, announced that the association will distribute PET ALERT signs to residents who request them. Beginning Thursday, October 23, 2025, the signs will be available for pickup in the Police Department lobby.

The signs are intended to be placed in a front window or on a door to notify emergency responders of pets inside the home during emergencies. There is no charge for the signs; however, donations are encouraged. All contributions will be directed to the Secaucus Animal Shelter.
