Ravi Bhalla Joins Dundon to Co-Lead Infrastructure Finance

Dundon Advisers LLC announced that former Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla will join the firm as managing director and co-head of its infrastructure finance division, effective January 15, 2026. Bhalla will also be affiliated with Dundon Markets LLC and IslandDundon LLC.

Bhalla, 52, recently completed his second term as mayor of Hoboken and begins his first term this month as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing parts of Hoboken and Jersey City. He previously served on the Hoboken City Council and worked as an attorney in private practice. Bhalla holds degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, the London School of Economics, and Tulane University Law School.

“We are excited to offer our private- and public-sector clients Ravi’s tremendous leadership in bringing critical infrastructure investments from concept to reality,” said Matthew Dundon, principal of Dundon. “We will build on his success at scales both local and global.”

Founded in 2016, Dundon Advisers provides restructuring, asset management, and corporate credit services to institutional clients. The firm is known for work across sectors including class actions, media and entertainment, cryptocurrency, and energy. While focused on North America, Dundon also has relationships in China and elsewhere in Asia.

“I am thrilled to start to work with Matt and his colleagues,” said Bhalla. “I believe their ten-year track record of providing first-rate financial services to institutional clients will enable me to broaden into new domains my long-standing commitment to smart infrastructure investment.”

Dundon’s clients include asset managers, law firms, banks, insurance companies, and corporate creditor groups involved in both in-court and out-of-court restructuring.
