North Bergen Celebrates Italian-American Heritage & Culture Month with Flag-Raising

North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco raised the Italian flag over North Bergen Town Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024 in celebration of Italian-American Heritage & Culture Month.

Joining in the tribute honoring the achievements and contributions of Italian immigrants and their descendants were Township Commissioners Hugo Cabrera, Allen Pascual, Claudia Rodriguez, and Anthony Vainieri, Former Commissioner Frank Gargiulo, Assemblyman Julio Marenco, County Commissioner Robert Baselice, Police Chief Robert Farley, North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue Executive Director Michael DeOrio, EMS Chief Dave Prina, and many other municipal officials and employees.
