Kearny Police and Fire Respond to Residential Fire on Davis Avenue
The Kearny Police and Fire Departments responded to a residential fire Sunday on Davis Avenue, between Bergen Avenue and Dukes Street.
Authorities advised residents to avoid the area while emergency personnel were on scene. Due to heavy smoke, those living nearby were asked to close their windows and stay indoors if possible.
“Thank you for your cooperation as emergency personnel work the scene,” the Kearny Police Department stated in a public notice.
