Hudson County Authorities Investigate Five-Alarm Fire in Bayonne
On Friday, November 22, a five-alarm fire swept through a residential property at 458 Avenue C in Bayonne, displacing 17 residents and damaging six apartments. According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, the blaze, which originated in an apartment bedroom, is under investigation by the Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force and the Bayonne Fire Department.
The fire broke out at approximately 11:45 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames, which quickly spread to nearby structures. Despite the fire’s intensity, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
