FBI Renews Call for Information on Jersey City Woman Missing Since 2019

The FBI is renewing its call for information in the disappearance of Mayushi Bhagat, a Jersey City woman who has been missing since April 29, 2019.

Bhagat was last seen in the evening hours of April 29, 2019, leaving her apartment in Jersey City. She was wearing colorful pajama pants and a black t-shirt at the time. Her family reported her missing on May 1, 2019.

Bhagat, born July 12, 1994, in India, was attending the New York Institute of Technology in New York City on an F1 Student Visa at the time of her disappearance. She stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs between 150 and 160 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to her location or recovery, and the identification, arrest, and conviction of any person responsible.
