Bayonne Wins First-Ever Little League World Series Game on Walk-Off Homer

Bayonne won its first-ever Little League World Series game on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, beating Bridgewater, Massachusetts, 2-1 on a walk-off home run in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Mason Rincon delivered the game-winning home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift Bayonne to the victory. Rincon also pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing just two hits and striking out eight.

The win was Bayonne’s first appearance and first victory at the Little League World Series, and it extended the team’s winning streak to 14 games.

Bayonne next faces East Side Little League of West Chester, Pennsylvania, which represents the Mid-Atlantic Region, on Friday at 7 p.m.
