Frankie Negron Brings Salsa to North Bergen

Frankie Negron performed a free concert at Bruin Stadium on Friday, October 3, 2025, drawing hundreds of residents to an evening of live salsa music and dancing. The event, presented by Commissioner Hugo Cabrera and the North Bergen Recreation Department, transformed the stadium into an open-air dance floor.

The night opened with youth dance performances by NJ Dance Fusion, a local studio based in North Bergen. Negron then took the stage with a 12-piece band, including a full horn section and multiple percussionists, delivering a high-energy set that lasted several hours.

Food and drink vendors lined the park, serving snacks, beverages, and ice cream to attendees enjoying the crisp fall weather.
