Saint Peter’s University has laid off 17 staff and administrative employees and reduced seven others to part-time, according to a report by The Saint Peter’s Tribune. Faculty showed signs of protest at the university’s convocation on August 26, with some wearing armbands in solidarity with those laid off, according to The Tribune.
