Secaucus University Hospital Names Corinne Lora Chief Nursing Officer

Secaucus University Hospital has a new Chief Nursing Officer. Hudson Regional Health announced the promotion of Corinne Lora to the role, the top nursing leadership position at the hospital.
Lora brings 20 years of clinical and healthcare leadership experience to the job. She joined Secaucus University Hospital in 2018 as Director of Perioperative Services, the department that handles surgical care, and last year was promoted to system vice president of perioperative services, overseeing that work across the health system.
“As Secaucus University Hospital continues to grow and further serve the community, there is no better person to lead our hospital team than Corinne,” said HRH Chairman of the Board Yan Moshe.
HRH CEO and President Dr. Nizar Kifaieh said Lora’s combination of on-the-ground and system-wide experience makes her well suited for the role. “Corinne has distinguished herself as one of our organization’s most respected healthcare professionals,” he said.
Lora began her nursing career in medical-surgical nursing at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center before moving into intensive care and later specializing in operating room and perioperative services. She has also held leadership roles at St. Mary’s General Hospital and Health Plus Surgical Center.
In 2024, she was recognized as a Healthcare Hero and Nurse of the Year by NJBIZ, and in 2019 she was named Hudson Regional Hospital’s Director of the Year.
Her appointment follows the retirement of longtime Chief Nursing Officer Felicia Karsos.
