Red Bulls Talent Joins U-17 National Team for World Cup Qualifiers
Harrison, NJ – Tanner Rosborough, a forward with the New York Red Bulls, has been selected to play for the United States U-17 National Team in the CONCACAF qualifiers this month. The 16-year-old soccer standout is aiming for a spot in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Rosborough’s accomplishments include seven goals during the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season and a key role in securing the U-15 CONCACAF Championship title for the U.S. team in 2023. He also holds the distinction of being the fourth youngest goal scorer in Red Bulls franchise history.
The qualifiers will take place in Costa Rica, where Rosborough and his teammates will compete against the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Cuba.
