Edward Duran who played quarterback during the school state championship run in 1984 was inducted into the Hudson County Hall of Fame.
The Hudson County Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1991 by the Hudson County Division of Parks, with the support of the Office of the County Executive and the Board of Chosen Freeholders, to commemorate the many Hudson County athletes, boosters, coaches, and journalists who have left their mark in the professional and scholastic worlds of sport.
Duran played under the late Vincent Ascolese and went on to play linebacker for Boston College.
